Country Chicken Pulao - Desi Murg Pulao - Natu Kodi Pulav - South Indian Andhra Special

Country Chicken Pulao -Andhra Natukodi Palav (South India -Andhra Speacial)

 

Ingredients


Country Chicken           : 1 K.G
Basmathi Rice              : 1 K.G
Cinnamon      
Clove                          :  20
Green Cardamom         : 2 Tsp
Mace                           : 4
Star anise                    : 4
Onion                          : 1/2 K.G (medium size) (thinly Sliced)
Tomato                       : 1/2 K.G (chopped)
Green Chillies              : 50 grams (slit vertically)
Chopped coriander       : Half Cup
Chopped Mint     
Leaves                        : Half Cup
Edible Oil                    : 250 Grams
Ghee                          :  50 Grams
Ginger
Garlic Paste                : 5 Table spoons
Red Chilli
Powder                      : 2 Tsp (or as per your taste prefer spicy chicken, so added more)
Turmeric                    : 1 Tsp 
Garam Masala            : 3 T spoons
Coriander
Powder                      : 1 Table spoon

Lemon                       : 1 table spoon
Salt                           : as per your taste


Method

Preparatory

1)Rinse and wash Basmathi Rice thoroughly and Marinate for 15 Minutes
2)Rub Oil,Turmeric and Salt on Country Chicken Pieces and keep it aside.

Process

1)Place the Kadai/Wok on low flame.

2)Place kadai/wok and add Edible oil and Ghee

3)Add all Dry Spices mentioned above(Clove,  Cardamom ,mace ,star anise, cinnamon)
4)Add thinly sliced Onion pieces to the oil
5)let the onion become Translucent(cook till onion becomes brown)
6)Add Ginger Garlic paste and stir till Onion and Ginger Garlic paste looses Raw 
flavours




















7)Add Slit Green Chilli to Kadai
8)Add Coriander Powder
9)Add Turmeric Powder
10)Add Red Chilli Powder
11)Add Tomato pieces
12)Add Country Chicken Pieces
13)Add Salt
14)Add Chopped Coriander and Mint Leaves

Country Chicken Pulao 



















15)Add Grama masala Powder

16)cook till oil separates
17)Add Water (2 litres for 1 K.G Rice)
18)check the Salt and Add Salt if require
19)Cook in High flame for 10 Minutes and in slow flame for 20 minutes
20)Now Check the chicken
21)If it becomes tender and cooked ...
22)Add Rice and Cook till rice fully cooked

23)Now reduce flame sprinkle Lemon Juice

Serve with sherwah or any Gravy of your Choice

Note : Country Chicken has lot of odour,so plz use spices and grama masala  generously
