Chicken pakora/Pakoda is very popular dish in Indian subcontinent ,This is a simple and Easy cooking Excercise with Step by step approch,Lran and make it and make evry one Happy at your Home.
Chicken with bone 500 g (cut into small pieces)
Chickpea flour (basan) 100 g
Rice flour 2 table spoon
corn flout 1/2 Table (optional)
Oil 1 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste 1 table spoon
Red Chilly powder 1 ½ Table spoon
Chat masala 2 table spoon
Coriander chopped 1 table spoon
Curry leaves 2 spr
Vinegar or lime juice 2-3 tea spoons
Salt as per your Taste
Tandoori red Food colour(permitted by your Federal govt) Optional
Oil for deep frying
Method :
1)First marinate the chicken with salt, chilly powder, vinegaror or lime juice , mix it well and rest for 1 hour, and then .
Add ginger garlic paste mix it well
2)Take a bowl add chickpea flour, rice flour, salt, chilly powder, chopped coriander, curry leaves, oil, mix it well,Add permitted food colour and Keep it aside
Add this chik pea flour mixture to the marinated chicken in this add check pea flour mixture, sprinkle little water, mix it up
Fry them in hot oil.
Drain them from Oil
Fry vertically split green chillies and curry leaves in the hot oil and spread on chicken pakoras
Then sprinkle chat masala on to it.
Serve this with hot.
1)Fry at high flame for first 2-3 minutes then turn the flame to medium ,let the bubbling around pakoras stops,Then remove from oil and add to absobing paper napkin or kitchen towel
2)Sprinkle Lime juice before you serve,it really really enhances the taste
3)Garnish with Onion Rings
